Reflections on the British Museum and Library
This documentary is a personal and controversial record of a love-hate relationship. Its author, Nicholas Garnham, says: "I've been going to the British Museum off and on all by life. I find many of the so-called cultural treasures it contains both beautiful and interesting. But what it and other museums represent disturbs me. I often feel that we are slowly suffocating beneath a growing pile of cultural junk".
