Chantal Stacey is the beautiful product of her sophisticated French mother and her staid stuffy father. After a series of simultaneous engagements Chantal falls for an attractive photographer, but marriage is only the beginning of many romantic complications.

When the Fijian touring side arrived in Britain at the end of September it was regarded by many as no more than an interesting phenomenon - a part of the centenary season. Today, half-way through their tour, plain interest has been replaced by the delighted appreciation of Rugby enthusiasts throughout the country. Names like Batibasaga, Sovau, Qoro, Naueabalavu, and Tuisese have become part of Rugby legend.

The story of an English genius - John Constable (1776-1837)

Constable wrote in his diary 'Painting with me is another word for feeling, and I associate my careless boyhood with all that lies on the banks of the Stour.'
This film evokes the poetry and the beauty of the scenes that Constable painted. It shows how his work also reflected the tensions in his own nature as he struggled to gain recognition for both himself and his art. He lived in a society that was shocked by his originality and indifferent to the freshness of his vision.
