A magazine of the arts.
Introduced by Alex Glasgow.

Tonight's edition includes:
Rough Passage
A life of Malcolm Lowry.
Almost unknown to the general reading public, Malcolm Lowry, who wrote Under the Volcano, is increasingly regarded by writers and critics as a major author. He led an extraordinary and violent life which took him to sea as a schoolboy, to Mexico, and to a squatter's shack in Vancouver. He died in 1957, but to the friends who contribute to this programme he is still a vivid memory.
The Selected Letters of Malcolm Lowry by Harvey Breit and Margerie Bonner Lowry and a new edition of Under the Volcano have just been published.
