Stravinsky rewrote 18th-century pieces by Pergolesi and Domenico Gallo - and almost single-handedly invented neoclassicism in music. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto
No 3 in G, BWV1048, is placed alongside Stravinsky's Concerto in E flat
