1: Listening to Lists. An investigation into how writers, artists and film-makers have used lists intheirwork. With Peter Greenaway, Emma Kay and Don Paterson.
2: The Colour of Sound. Composer Jonathan Harvey paints with sound and painter George Dannatt depicts sound with colour. Peter White , blind since birth, considers his own perception of colour based on sound and music. Woven through their music, sounds and words is a poem by Sean Street.
3: In a Child's Ear. Audiologists and poets examine the process by which we learn to make sense of the barrage of sound that greets our ears when we leave the womb.
