Tonight the network devotes the entire evening to African music and the issues that often inspire the music. There is live music in the studio from artists who include Youssou N'Dour and Oliver Mtukudzi and they also take part in the discussion, which ranges over Aids, politics, myth and history. At 10pm, Verity Sharp presents a live concert from the Jazz Cafe in London, which features the Sengalese kora player Seckou Keita and Justin Vali. There is also a first UK appearance by the remarkable Congolese rumba band Kekele. The evening's presenters are Lucy Duran and Eugene Skeef. Read more on page 27.
