Another chance to hear Ten Tall Tales by Big Air, which scooped Best New Work in the recent BBC Jazz Awards. Big Air comprises Chris Batchelor (trumpet), Steve Buckley (saxophone/penny whistle), Oren Marshall (electric tuba), Jim Black (drums) and pianist Myra Melford.
The suite was commissioned by Jazz on 3 and recorded earlier this year at the Wardrobe in Leeds.
