In this week's programmes, Humphrey Burton talks to the American violinist
Joshua Bell and together they introduce some of his many recordings from the BBC archive. Today, Bell talks about his early life in Bloomington, Indiana and how his careerwas kick-started by a competition run jointly by the Ford corporation and the teenage magazine Seventeen.
