The final recital in a series of Schubert song cycles performed bytenorlan
Bostridge and pianist Julius Drake earlier this month at London's Wigmore Hall.
Schwanengesang- literally a swan-song-owes its existence to Schubert's publisher who, shortly afterthe composer's death, wanted to issue these last songs collectively.
