(Stephen Tompkinson's Questionnaire: page 18)

While recent episode with neither Assumpta nor Father Clifford have been enjoyable, the interaction between the two characters certainly adds a little frisson.
This week Assumpta is rallying the women of Ballykay to unite and shift the balance of economic power away from the men. But is looks like only Niamh is going to attend her meeting and she's late because Ambrose can't find his socks. However, even Niamh manages to show that she's a chip off the old block.
Meanwhile, do we detect a few cracks in the foundations of the marital paradise? Assumpta wants to talk, her new husband doesn't: "If everything is ok", he says, "you don't need to ask questions. If it's not, you don't want to hear the answers." Then Peter makes a sort of confession. Oh-oh.
Watch out for an appearance by Pauline McLynn, alias Mrs Doyle from "Father Ted".
