Liverpool couple Ellie and Malc Freeman lead a quiet working-class life - she works in a shop and he is a warehouseman who can't get ahead. But then Ellie wins £1.5 million on the pools and instead of following her instincts and going on a spree, she buys shares in a small company where she hopes her husband's talent will finally be recognised.
