Rolf Harris recalls heartwarming stories from past visits to the RSPCA's Harmsworth Hospital. Animal rescues are the focus tonight, with a german shepherd dog reunited with her owners after a watery mishap, a duck that refused to be caught when found waddling alongside a canal, and a cat stranded at the very top of a tree.

His parents, who have sacrificed their careers to care for Ian, feel his quality of life is negligible. This film records both their tragic situation and the moral dilemma they face: is euthanasia the answer?
