Boxing
Britain's Commonwealth super-middleweight champion Henry Wharton defends his title against Zimbabwean challenger Supho Moyo at Leeds Town Hall. It is a fight the popular Yorkshireman must win as he prepares to take on WBO champion Chris Eubank in December. But official contender Moyo should prove a tough opponent for Wharton's fourth defence. Also on the bill is a Yorkshire derby for the central area cruiserweight title between Leeds's own Denzil Brown and Sheffield's John "Buster" Keeton. Former three-time ABA champion Joe Calzaghe is also looking to continue to impress in the professional ranks.
