Last part of the Australian film drama about the events leading to a suicidal breakout by more than 1,000 Japanese prisoners from a PoW camp in Cowra in 1944. 5: Reluctantly Stan and Junji find themselves on opposite sides in a war which neither of them can win. Of the 1,100 Japanese who take part in the breakout, only 334 actually escape - one of them is Junji. Now it's 'open season on Japs' and Stan knows he has to find

Jim Wilson , a police lieutenant in a corrupt resort town, is tired of the brutal grind of his work and is about to leave for lighter duties elsewhere. But on his last day in the force, a violent situation erupts. Janie, a bar singer, is taken hostage by her ex-lover Frank, whom she has left for another man.
After Frank shoots a policeman, a large-scale siege develops. The title song,
