The late Dian Fossey shared her life with the mountain gorillas of central Africa for more than a decade. These animals may be up to 6ft tall, weigh 4001bs or more and have an arm span of 8ft; but, despite their bulk, Fossey found them to be shy and unassuming creatures. Her life's work was later the subject of the feature film Gorillas in the Mist, starring
Sigourney Weaver. This documentary tells the story of Dian Fossey 's remarkable dedication and the results of her research into the gorillas of Rwanda, Africa.
