Communication Code
Whizz is busy cracking codes today and makes Bug feel a little 'off colour'. Voice practises his knowledge of home-base back words and deciphers Whizz's question, '?Elzzup txen eht si tahw'. In the Earthsearch, Whizz solves the last part and the small knob goes back where it belongs. This time the clue is a cassette, but what's it for? Voice gives a further clue.

Courtney Pine and the New Jazz
More alive now than at any time since the 1950s, British jazz has seen a drastic transformation since the days when it was made up of 'middle-class English people trying to be black'. Now young black musicians as well as whites are in the vanguard of the current revival, drawing on their background of soul, funk and reggae to revitalise jazz. Twenty-two year old saxophonist Courtney Pine plays and talks about the new sound, with performances from The Jazz Warriors
The Clark Tracey Quintet and Steve Williamson and comments from
Tommy Chase , Man Wilson Gail Thompson , jazz photographer Val Wilmer and veteran performers
Stan Tracy and George Melly. Film editors

from Wembley Arena featuring
The Lombard Silver Spur There is a considerable element of speed in tonight's programme. It's the final of the scurry driving and Pony Club nerves are jangling as their event approaches its final stages.
But for the seasoned campaigners, who seldom show much emotion, there is E8,000 on offer.
