Courtney Pine and the New Jazz
More alive now than at any time since the 1950s, British jazz has seen a drastic transformation since the days when it was made up of 'middle-class English people trying to be black'. Twenty-two year old saxophonist Courtney Pine plays and talks about the new sound, with performances from The Jazz Warriors
The Clark Tracey Quintet and Steve Williamson and comments from
Tommy Chase , Man Wilson Gail Thompson , jazz photographer Val Wilmer and veteran performers
