European Cup Soccer
Highlights from one of tonight's European semi-final second leg matches.
Commentator BARRY DAVIES
British hopes of European success this season now rest with one club - League champions Nottingham Forest. After beating the European champions Liverpool earlier in the competition,
Brian Clough 's side play the West German champions Cologne for a place in next month's Final - and the chance to keep the European Cup in England for the third season running.
The Management Trail
Since the war well over 1.000 football managers have lost their jobs in a profession described by England manager Ron Green -wood as ' often very much a hit-and-miss affair'. Just over two years ago Sportsnight featured the early apprenticeships of two young managers, Alan Durban at Shrewsbury and Graham Taylor at Lincoln, both in the Third Division. Since then Durban has moved to Second Division Stoke, and Taylor. wooed by Elton John , to Watford, now in Division Three. John Motson has been back to check on how they are coping with the precarious world of football management.
