Sheffield are confident that JOHN SHERWOOD , in the hurdles relay, and the skill of their archers will establish their claim to the title whilst Bristol rely on TIMOTHY STOKES in the badminton and the greater strength of their judo team to counterbalance the events. The two team sports, soccer and basketball, will be crucial, particularly basketball - an event in which both centres have brought in National Basketball League teams.
