Spotlight on the export drive.
A money-making gimmick at a church fete was the starting point for a series of multi-million-pound export orders which have secured world-wide recognition for a Peterborough company developing small hovercraft for pleasure and sporting activities. And an old wool mill was the beginning of another export boom. Hundreds of inflatable boats - some high-performance ones powered by 65 hp motors-are leaving a Llanelli rubber factory every week for markets all over the world.
