British champion Les McAteer, from one of Merseyside's famous fighting families, challenges European and Danish champion Tom Bogs, unbeaten after 53 professional contests, at the Vejlbyriiskov Hall, Aarhus. McAteer (28 fights: 23 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw) was outpointed in a non-title fight with Bogs in Copenhagen in April 1969.
