starring Gregory Peck, Ann Blyth, Anthony Quinn

Rex Beach's story of Jonathan Clark, a bold sea captain who sails his schooner into the lawless Alaskan seas of the 1850s to win a fortune in seal pelts, makes a fine vehicle for Gregory Peck.
Ann Blyth plays the beautiful Russian countess with whom he falls in love, and Anthony Quinn his seal-poaching rival.

As they leave South Africa, Cousteau and the crew of the research vessel Calypso take aboard two young Cape Fur Seals. Given the names Pepito and Cristobal, the seals gradually form attachments to members of the team, and even act as messengers for the divers. Then, one day, off the coast of South America, Cristobal swims away...

A musical film written and performed by Tommy Steele
"I suppose you could call this film a happening," says Tommy Steele. "It's not about England, and it's not really about London. It's about a journey - a journey through memories and thoughts, but it's mainly about people."
Tommy Steele has wanted to make this film for some time. He has written the script, which Includes his original poems and some popular songs, arranged by Johnny Harris of Tom Jones and Lulu fame.
The camera moves through Steele's native Bermondsey looking at people and places which mean much to him. We visit a now derelict cinema which he used to go to as a child, eat with him in the local Pie and Mash shop, and take a morning plunge with him in the Public Baths.
This is an uncomplicated film by a happy man.
