The adventures of the Star-Ship Enterprise as it zooms across man's final frontier - space!
Its mission - to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and civilisations, to go boldly where no man has gone before!

Despite the desperate situation of the Enterprise, a stunned and sorrowing crew is summoned to pay a last tribute to their Captain, Kirk, who has sacrificed himself for his comrades. Even after he has faded away he performs a service to his ship, momentarily reappearing from the void in a secret tele-recorded message to his successor.
