Joseph O'Conor tells The Night-Watchmen by Helen Cresswell with pictures by Gareth Fwyd
Henry met Josh and Caleb in the park. They looked like tramps, but there was obviously something very unusual about them. 'You've got Here, and you've got There. We're from There,' explained Josh.
'And where's There?' asked Henry.
'Ah,' said Josh, ' You'd have to take the night train to find out. And that you'll never do because you belong Here.'

Spotlight on the export drive
Britain is the home of the thoroughbred racehorse. At current prices for big-race winners, British horses can, quite literally, be worth their weight in gold - which makes racing not just a sport but an industry. But there's a paradox. As another season of horse-sales gets under way the big question is 'are we too successful at exporting?'
