Stranded in Portobello without a ship, the rascally Long John Silver is soon reunited with Jim Hawkins, his young Treasure Island shipmate now held captive by the villainous Captain Mendoza. Long John schemes to sack the king's warehouse and follow new clues to Flint's gold.
This exciting adventure, with Robert Newton re-creating the role he made famous, was photographed on location in Australia.

During World War II, in the South Atlantic, an American destroyer encounters a German U-boat. In the ensuing days the two captains play a desperate game of cat-and-mouse as they assess and exploit their knowledge of each other's strategy.
Robert Mitchum and Curt Jurgens give outstanding performances as the rival captains in this tense and exciting story directed by ex-actor Dick Powell.
