Life and Death in Ancient Egypt
What were the lives of the ancient Egyptians like? How do you find out? Dr Rosalie David analyses wall paintings of scenes of everyday life; dentist Frank Leek investigates the problem of pharaonic toothache; radiologists try to establish the age and cause of death of a young, now mummified child; and an industrial endoscope is used to look inside a mummy's lungs and brain so that Dr Eddie Tapp can diagnose the illnesses of a priestess of Amon.
