Quintin Riley and T. T. Paterson
This is the first of a series of six talks that will cover the work of British explorers in the Arctic during the last twenty years and show how much development there has been in technique. There will be different speakers on each occasion, all of them experienced Polar travellers.
Quintin Riley was a member of both the Greenland expeditions led by Gino Watkins. He was also a member of John Rymill 's British Grahamland Expedition to the Antarctic which returned two summers ago. T. T. Paterson is an anthropologist who has made a special study of the Eskimos, particularly in the islands west of Greenland.
