A commentary on one of the finals of the Ail-England Championships by F. H. Grisewood from the Horticultural Hall
The badminton tournament, lasting all this week at the Horticultural Hall, Westminster, and promoted by the Badminton Association of England, owes much to the tournament's secretary, Cyril Mar riott, who stepped into the breach caused by the regretted death of the secretary of the Association. Cyril Marriott has been well known as a lawn-tennis player and referee since the war, and his wife was a very well-known lawn-tennis player in her day.
Mr. Cyril Marriott is not to be confused with Mr. C. M. B. Marriott.
Today the finals are to be played.
K. G. Livingstone , who gave the commentary on Thursday, will be at the microphone with F. H. Grise wood to report on the championships which are now drawing to a close
And describe whatever game may be taking place. Mr. Livingstone, besides being a former England and Middlesex ptayer, is the manager of the Badminton Gazette, so he should be able to help out Grisewood with any involved technicalities of the ganie.

Captain Eric Rickman
('Robin Goodfellow' of the Daily Mail)
This evening Captain Rickman will discuss steeplechasing in special relation to next week's National Hunt Meeting at Cheltenham. (The race for the Gold Cup next Thursday is to be broadcast.) Light is always thrown on Aintree form, although there is 'many a slip' and many of the greatest chasers have distinguished themselves on Park courses to fail miserably at Aintree. Captain Rickman will recall some of the great incidents of past seasons, and some of the riders and horses of other years.

CHOIR
One of the most important musical events in London is the annual visit of the Glasgow Orpheus Choir, which, for perfection of ensemble and artistic singing generally, cannot he surpassed in Britain. Early in the century Sir Hugh Roberton , conductor and founder of the choir, began his career as trainer of a church choir, and soon formed the small body of singers which became the nucleus of the Orpheus Choir. Many of the arrangements used are by Sir Hugh himself.
The Glasgow Orpheus Choir also broadcast from Queens Hall this afternoon in the Regional programme, and from the St. Andrew's Hall, Glasgow, in the Scottish programme last Tuesday.
