Howard Marshall , another ' Front Page Wife' collected for this series by Howard Thomas , is coming to the microphone to tell you whether her husband is as placid by his own hearth as he is by those of listeners. Her first words when she was invited to take part in the series were ' Willingly : now I can get my own back'. For months Mrs. Marshall and her sons have provided raw material for ' Father's talks to the Empire. Now Mrs. Marshall promises us some home truths about her husband.

This is the first announcement of a St. Hilary play to be printed without the familiar line ' Directed by Filson Young '. His death last April robbed broadcasting of one of its outstanding figures. His belief in the broadcasting possibilities of the sincerity and devotion of the St. Hilary Players first led him to bring them to the microphone. For many years he and Bernard Walke have together produced these moving Cornish miracle plays. Tonight, under Bernard Walke 's production, the performance will follow the lines, now almost a tradition, laid down by him and Filson Young.
