C. H. MIDDLETON
Now is the time to get out the packet of seeds that costs a few pence and sow the contents in the ground prepared for them — Love-in-a-Mist, sweet peas, phlox drummondi, Shirley poppies, and a host of others. In recent years borders of annuals-flowers that grow and die in one season-have become increasingly popular, and this evening C. H. Middleton is to bring to the microphone R. E. Hay , who specialises in hybridising for a well-known seed firm, and they are to discuss the best way to get a show of colour out of a few packets of seed. R. E. Hay , son of T. Hay of the Royal Parks, has twice before given listeners his valuable advice.
