W. K. Duckett
Today Mr. Duckett is to take listeners on a Greek steamer through the Gulf of Corinth. On their right, on the north coast of Peloponnesus, or Southern Greece, they will pass Patras, from which currants and wine are exported all over the world. As the voyage continues, Mr. Duckett will point out the beautiful scenery, narrow fringing lowlands and steep mountain-sides, hill pastures and olive groves ; and so he will bring them to Corinth and take them on to Athens. He will show them the Acropolis, which is possibly over 3,500 years old, and he will talk of modern things too.

Talk for Sixth Forms
On Sunday, March 15, G.K. Chesterton told listeners his views on the appreciation of life. This afternoon he will give a rather more serious talk on a subject of which he has a vast knowledge, the Middle Ages. Although the talk is intended primarily for schools, afternoon listeners should not miss this opportunity of hearing one of the most brilliant microphone speakers.
