'The Atom Chasers' and their friends, accompanied by Nagari, a holy man from the Chagpori Monastery, find themselves in danger from an avalanche. Later they are received with ceremony by the Samten Lama , the boy ruler of the monastery. The ' Book of Wisdom ' is there, but before they are allowed to see it the gods must give a sign.
