It is not generally realised that up to the outbreak of war millions of tame rabbits were imported from Poland, Scandinavia, and Belgium. The war has cut off these supplies, with the result that neither the meat for food nor the furs for garments can now be obtained from these sources.
It will take a large number ot additional rabbit-keepers in this country to replace the normal supplies that used to come to the market. Salesmen are anxious for larger supplies to meet next season's demands, and they want rabit flesh and fur prepared in the proper way.
In his talk this afternoon W. King
Wilson will deal with every practical aspect of the question of rearing rabbits in hutches or on the lawn.

These two rich burlesques have been broadcast before. Winsome Winnie is every kind of penny-novelette melodrama rolled into one and The Billiard-Room Mystery is very nearly a detective story to end all detective stories. Rumanian rhapsody No. 1..Golestan Rumania has not produced any great composers in the past, but this evening's concert will give some idea of the creative powers of three of Rumania's leading composers of today.
Georges Enesco is considered to be the founder and leader of the Rumanian school of composers. Born in 1881, he studied at the Viennk and Paris Conservatoires, one of his professors at the latter being Fauri. He is also famous as being the teacher of Yehudi Menuhin.
Marcel Mihalovici , the youngest of the group, was born in 1898 and studied with d'Indy in Paris. One of his compositions ' Introduction to a symphonic movement' was awarded the National Prize founded by Enesco for the encouragement of Rumanian composers.
Stan Golestan was born in 1876. He also studied in Paris at the Conservatoire and at the Schola Cantorum, where he came under the influence of d'Indy and Dukas. For some years he was music critic It Figaro.
