Also featured are the women's 400m semi-finals, a discipline in which British hopes rest with Katharine Merry, who switched to the event only last year, and the final of the women's hammer - an event making its championship debut.

Introduced by Sue Barker, with commentary from David Coleman, Steve Cram, Paul Dickenson, Brendan Foster and Stuart Storey, plus reports from Christina Boxer.

8.00 Women's 800m final
8.10 Men's 1500m final
8.30 Men's 10,000m final

A trio of live track finals from Seville. Britain's Kelly Holmes could feature in a women's 800m final that is likely to be dominated by Mozambique's Maria Mutola and Russia's Svetlana Masterkova, while world-record holder Hicham El Guerrouj of Morocco is expected to battle it out with Kenya's Noah Ngeny in what promises to be a mouthwatering men's 1500m final. African domination is also predicted in the men's 10,000m final.

Last in the series of films exploring how the British define themselves outside the world of work.

The clubs we want to join, and those that will accept us, define which "tribe" we belong to. This film focuses on clubs as diverse as the Rotary Club of Redhill, Surrey, and the Stapleford Park Country Club in Rutland.

Series tracing the history of an ordinary home through its previous and current owners.

Tonight's film tells the story of Biglis, a 17th-century Cardiff farmhouse that has seen more change in the last 50 years than in the previous 300. The Golding family recall when the house was a hive of agricultural activity, before the building became used as a canteen and a cow shed.

Bought at auction in the eighties, the house has been restored to become a family home again.
