The inside story on medicine continues.

It is estimated that one in every 3.000 patients is awake during surgery, but is unable to move or to cry out. Donna Bernard talks to Norman Dalton, who suffered post-traumatic stress disorder after coming round during a heart bypass operation, and she meets an anaesthetist who claims to have a simple and effective solution to this problem.

Dr Phil Hammond investigates whether doctors are getting ruder, and asks if a decline in the bedside manner can be halted. Plus a look at cough and cold medicines - how they work and if they offer value for money.
