College. She's also a Palestinian aristocrat, who owns the only hotel in the Gaza Strip. In the refugee camp next door, the Palestinian intifada - an uprising against Israeli occupation - began three years ago this week. Today, Malika's guests are a strange collection of journalists, diplomats and foreigners on fact-finding tours. Starring Nigel Planer
3: Climbing the Mountain. For every actor, explains Nicholas Craig , the rehearsal process is a gruelling climb, in many ways more dangerous than the ascent of Everest itself. In this programme, the viewer is offered a privileged view of that climb, as the actor, spiritually naked, is comforted only by his favourite rehearsal tracksuit. 'Quite frankly,' says Craig bravely, 'I find rehearsing knocks live performance into a cocked hat.' Written by Christopher Douglas Director Charles Miller
