A series of eight prize-winning films from different parts of the world.
7: Where Fish Stand in Line This fascinating film, made by ROLF MOLTGEN of West Germany, was very highly acclaimed at the Wildscreen 84 Festival.
Not all predatory fish are feared by smaller ones.
Cleaner fish are allowed to swim between the jaws, teeth and gills of the predators without being gobbled up - it's a privilege only they can enjoy because of the valet services they provide.
Small fish and shrimps carry out their chores on the coral reefs off the Maldive Islands, where Moltgen conducted a few experiments. How do fish react to a dummy cleaner? How sick do predatory fish become if their bodies are not regularly cleaned by parasites?

Ray Johnson spent one month of his life committing crimes and 27 years in prison paying for his misdemeanours. This powerful film is based on Johnson's account of his life and that of his partner in crime from the age of 14, Robin Robinett. The extraordinary story follows Johnson's change of heart and his rehabilitation, which took the form of his work helping other convicts. It raises the issue as to whether imprisonment is the only answer to crime ...
