A remarkable exhibition which throws a totally new light on the work of the Norwegian artist
Edvard Munch , is currently on show at the Barbican Centre. It opened its British tour at the Polytechnic Art Gallery in Newcastle, and a camera team from BBC North East's Coast to Coast programme went to Norway to explore the unique relationship between artist and worker, which Munch celebrated on canvas.
