A season of great love stories Tonight starring Genevieve Bujold with Richard Jordan
Philippe Leotard , Marcel Cuvelier Elisabeth, a young girl growing up in Quebec at the beginning of the last century, is given in marriage to the Seigneur of Kamouraska. After an idyllic honeymoon, she discovers a dark side to her husband's character and returns to her mother in distress. The doctor who attends her is a handsome American. Their love affair becomes a violent passion which must destroy everything - and everyone - in its path.
