Swansea v The Australians
The sixth Wallabies, having been comprehensively beaten by Cardiff, within three days shocked the Welsh fans by achieving a magnificent draw against the fancied cup holders Llanelli. On this, the Australians' third match over the border, the tourists feel that in spite of the inspiring leadership of the Wales and Swansea captain MERVYN DAVIES they could gain their first victory in the principality.

The British Theatre of the Deaf
There are over a million deaf people in this country. It is, perhaps, not too surprising that there should be a theatre company which puts on productions in sign mime, a theatrical form of the deaf sign-language.
What is surprising is the extraordinary power of the mime language they use. It is difficult not to be moved by the expressiveness of the performers' faces and gestures. The Company are very aware that the whole community can enjoy their work, not just the deaf. They insist that we take note of their name: it is not called * Theatre for' but ' Theatre of the Deaf.'
