Looking at the news and the men behind the news in the world of money, including The Trendy Trip
The usual factory outing is beer, pork pies, and communal singing on the way to the seaside. The trendy trip today, especially if you work for a foreign company, is to visit the parent plant. The Money Programme followed 60 workers from Birmingham on a whistle-stop tour through Sweden. Were they seduced by the highest standard of living in the world?
