Bev Risman (Leeds), Alan Hardisty (Castleford), Roger Millward (Hull KR), Alex Murphy (Leigh) - four of the most exciting names in Rugby League - but only two can appear tonight.
Whoever wins through to this semi-final, interesting rugby is certain. Castleford were last year's Trophy winners and Leeds League Champions. Leigh are currently topping the League and Hull the most consistently entertaining team.

In these days of more organised groups it is not often that musicians have a chance to play together informally in what is better known as a 'jam session.' Tonight's musicians are well used to this type of get-together, having a vast experience in jazz music to call upon. Incidentally, this session is entirely spontaneous; only the tunes they play have been decided before the cameras recorded the session.

Tonight's film in this new season of outstanding films of the past 10 years from the movie capital stars Susan Hayward, John Gavin, Vera Miles with Charles Drake, Virginia Grey

A lifetime of hopeless love follows the chance encounter between an aspiring dress designer and a handsome young soldier. Tonight's film is Hollywood's third version of Fannie Hurst's famous romantic novel with Susan Hayward in the role previously played by Irene Dunne in 1932 and Margaret Sullavan in 1941. The characters in this 1961 version have been moved up the social register, and the production is mounted with the impeccable gloss of Universal Studios.
