A programme for children at home.
In the story chair, Hugh Tracey
Hugh Tracey, the authority on traditional tales and music from Africa, is a new visitor to Play School and tells three African animal stories. Tuesday's picturebook The Happy Owls is illustrated by Celestino Piatti, and on Thursday Terence Holland tells a story about a snowman who wouldn't melt. During the week the toys start to carry out their New Year Resolutions, and on Wednesday when the decorations are taken down they find an unopened present.
