Jez Nelson continues his occasional series aboutjazz musicians who deserve greater recognition. Having performed with Max Roach and John Coltrane , trumpeter
Booker Little worked with saxophonist Eric Dolphy , with whom he was credited as being one of the innovators of the post-bop sound. Sadly, Booker died at the age of 23.
