The Brooklyn Dodgers were more than just a baseball team - they were a Brooklyn institution. Then, in the late fifties, the unthinkable happened - the Dodgers' owner moved the team out of Brooklyn and into Los Angeles. Tim Marlow examines the effect this had on the borough with the help of Roger Kahn - author of the award-winning The Boys of Summer- and hears how the Dodgers were the first team in the major leagues to integrate, and how their black star Jackie Robinson became part of Brooklyn folklore.
