Rebecca Stewart directs the ensemble in the first of two programmes of music by Josquin for the three holy days of Easter. The intimacy of the Last Supper on Maundy Thursday is followed by the dreadful events of Good Friday. The motets of Josquin are set alongside plainchant, and together they express the wrath, the love and the sorrow of God.
