John Wallace conducts the Wallace Collection in Sousa's Salvation Army March, and Eileen Hulse
(soprano) and Simon Wright (piano) perform a less frequently heard version of The Stars and Stripes Forever.
The featured Sousa operetta is The Bride Elect, which includes the unlikely combination of a goat and a washing powder salesman. Norwegian pianist Morten Gunnar Larsen plays music by Joplin, including today's version of the Maple Leaf Rag.
