When the arts series began 25 years ago, its declared aim was to produce "television to remember". One of its most memorable films, about Frederick Delius, is shown again tonight.

Written by Ken Russell and Eric Fenby from Delius As I Knew Him by Eric Fenby

Ken Russell's film about the blind and paralysed composer was described in 1968 as the "best film Ken Russell has ever made" and many would still agree today. It tells the story of Delius's extraordinary relationship with the young organist who became his amanuensis and companion of five years, Eric Fenby.
