This morning on Foreign Office Green, Horse Guards Parade in London, Her Majesty The Queen unveils a statue, raised by public subscription, in memory of Earl Mountbatten.
This moving occasion is witnessed by the Royal Family, members of foreign royal families, Countess Mountbatten, and the Prime Minister.

Forensic scientists were able to identify her and to say that she could have been in the tank for as long as nine years Even more surprisingly, the police were able to convict a man of her murder. ,
Ernie Clarke got life. He's still serving his sentence in Wakefield Jail. For the past year the Rough Justice team has been re-investigating his case.
They have now -with the help of a leading forensic scientist-totally discredited the main evidence against Clarke.
