International Cricket
England v Pakistan for the Prudential Trophy from Trent Bridge England and Pakistan are level in this series.
In 1974 Pakistan beat England 2-0. Majid Khan (109) scored the fastest ever century in these Trophy matches off only 88 balls, when Pakistan won by seven wickets. The second match, reduced by the weather, was won by Zaheer Abbas , who made 57 in a low scoring game, Pakistan winning by eight wickets.
In 1978 it was England's turn. Bob Willis (4 for 15) and Ian Botham (2 for 17) demolishing Pakistan as England won by 132 runs.
